QUIPROCOS

Quiprocos is a special event during the Strasbourg's edition biennal, it is a book barter where participants create, at least, five books and exchange them with other participant's creation. It is a time of negotiation but also of sharing, participant meet, discuss and debate on their work. A productive and creative event, full of ideas which needed special furnitures.

We imagine, create and build the scenography's furniture to exhibit and store participant's books. We took the picture of the famous library ladder and made four different size ladders. When put together, they become furniture, we can create thousands of forms from those four different size ladder. They are very light and very easy to assemble with the elastic bond we made, they can be assemble and disassemble as many time as we want. A forceful quality for exhibition furniture, we could placed and displaced the ladders until we get a nice space organisation.
To exhibit we glu paper sheet on the bar to welcome the books and show the cover.
To store we assemble the ladders in a
shelf and weaved the ladder to create a flat surface.
The furniture made of ladder is also very robust, we stored and exhibit over than 250 books, and no broken one!
